Another
Way Out was founded in 1992 by Samuel E. Tompkins. He
is the successful business owner of Wood & Tompkins
Automotive Cores and Tompkins Motorsports. Mr. Tompkins
has childhood memories of playing with his bicycle and
scooter car in knee-torn jeans. It was a time of youthful
play and safe, clean fun. Today, many young people's
youthful memories are of illegal drug use, teen pregnancy,
classroom shootings, and experiences of physical and
sexual abuse.

Since
1992, Another Way Out has matched mentors with metro Atlanta
youth in order to expose them to the many positive opportunities
and experiences life has to offer. Youth Comes Only Once!
Let's Move Forward With Another Way Out!
Holding
steadfast to the program's motto: "It Takes A Whole Village
To Raise A Child", Another Way Out recruits mentors and
volunteers from many areas such as education, business, religion,
health and government. Currently the program is headquartered
in Southwest Atlanta at Wood & Tompkins Cores.
Another Way Out is constantly searching for mentor candidates.
